MI Transmedium Modem

The MI Transmedium Modem is a self-contained magneto inductive transceiver that can wirelessly transmit data to and from remote underground or submerged locations. When integrated with sensors or peripheral devices in areas that are unserviceable by RF or wired connections, the MI Transmedium Modem is able to provide real time telemetry.

The technology uses magneto inductive techniques to transmit data. The low frequency, magnetic channel can penetrate rock, water, buildings, literally through … anything!
