MI Voice and Data Communications
MI Rock Phone
The Magneto Inductive Rock Phones provide users with the ability to communicate remotely in areas where the intervening media is not penetrable by radio waves, making radio contact not possible. The MI communications signal goes through rock, earth, vegetation, and most urban structures and does not require Line-of-Sight (LOS) positions to establish communication links.
Rock Phones enable secure two-way communications and can be used with hand-held receiver modules for one-way, broadcast communications.
Rock Phones can be interfaced with any voice radio system to provide the capability for reestablishing radio contact in areas separated by intervening Line-of-Sight (LOS) obstructions.
The Rock Phone Receiver
The Rock Phone Receiver provides users with the ability to receive voice, data and text communications from any Rock Phone through intervening media that radio systems cannot penetrate such as soil, rock, caves and urban structures. The light-weight receiver is designed to easily fit in the hand of the user, or can be worn on the belt.
Rock Phone Receiver features include power control, volume control for voice, built-in text display, message indicator, low battery indicator, rechargeable batteries for over 20 hours operation when fully charged. The Rock Phone Receiver is built on an IS compliant design.
Both the Rock Phone and Rock Phone Receiverr can also be interfaced with conventional hard-wired and wireless communications systems for furtherance |
